As previously mentioned here and on the podcast, USPSA is sponsoring two IPSC RO Seminars. These seminars will be held at two different venues: Rio Salado Sportsman’s Club, on May 3rd and 4th, and at Hyatt Place Hotel, Columbus, Ohio, just prior to the USPSA IPSC Nationals on August 16th and 17th. Cost for the seminars will be $100.00 payable in advance by credit card using the Practiscore registration links below.
You will not need a firearm or ammunition: there is no range portion of the seminar. Eye and hearing protection are not required but are advised at Rio Salado. Each seminar will last approximately a day and a half (possibly to mid-afternoon on Sunday). You will be provided with all the necessary documents and tests, except for a printed copy of the IPSC Handgun rules. Those are available in PDF format here. You will need to be able to access them during the seminar, so download them to your favorite device.

You should have some practical shooting experience to attend, but existing NROI certification is not needed.
It’s important to note that these seminars will NOT confer USPSA NROI RO status. You will be certified as an IPSC Range Officer once you pass the class and will receive a digital certificate that may be printed. They also do not confer IROA status but are a step in the right direction if that is your goal. Both seminars will be taught by Alastair Stewart, an IROA CRO qualified to instruct.
We will provide coffee and snacks as well as lunch on Saturday; possibly Sunday if the seminar runs past lunch time. As always, you may bring your own water, soft drinks, and snacks or lunch. Questions? Email dnroi@uspsa.org.
